Celebrating World Oral Health Day

Every 20th of march, dentists and other dental health workers around the world raise awareness about diseases that may occur in the mouth and how to prevent them. Prevention they say is better than cure.
To have a mouth free of disease ensure you do the following:

1. Brush twice daily with a fluoride containing toothpaste for a minimum of 2 mins.

2. Change your toothbrush every three months.
3. Floss regularly.
4. Reduce the intake of sugar containing food and drinks.
5. Drink water regularly.
6. Eat fruits and vegetables regularly.
7. Visit the dentist every 6 months.
8. Make sure you visit your dentist as soon as you notice anything out of place in your mouth.

Be healthy, live mouth smart.
