The numerous brands of toothpaste available in the market today often puts the average person in a dilemma, making him/her wonder which toothpaste will be most effective.
When people ask me to recommend a good brand of toothpaste, I often respond by saying any
toothpaste that contains fluoride will do. (Fluoride is a mineral which prevents tooth decay). This is because I believe choosing ones toothpaste depends to a large extent on individual preference. What tastes nice to me might be nauseating to another person. Also, what works for person A might not necessarily work for person B. I’ve heard some people say they notice sores in their mouth after using certain brands of toothpaste as a result of irritation.
The choice is yours basically although sometimes your dentist may ask you to use a particular type of toothpaste based on what you complain of.
