Having a bad breath could be very embarrassing; however, it is good to know that it is preventable. The following tips will help keep your breath fresh all day:
- Brush your teeth and tongue: brushing twice daily for at least 2mins will ensure your Breath is fresh. Many often leave their tongue out of the brushing routine and this can lead to a bad breath. You can use a tongue scrapper or simply use your toothbrush.
- Floss regularly: food particles stuck in between the teeth will give bad breath if left in place. Flossing helps remove food particles effectively.
- Drink water throughout the day: drinking water helps keep the mouth wet. It also washes off reminant of food thus preventing bad breath.
- Avoid eating raw onions and garlic as this could give off an unpleasant odour.
- Eat fruits regularly: fruits such as carrots, apples etc help cleanse the teeth and thus prevent bad breath.
- Chew sugarless gum: keep minty sugarless gum handy; it’ll help keep your breath fresh quickly.
